Integrated Care Board (ICB)

The Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB), was officially formed on 1 April 2020 as a result of the NHS England approved merger between Norwich ICB, North Norfolk ICB, South Norfolk ICB, West Norfolk ICB, and Great Yarmouth and Waveney ICB.

The Norfolk and Waveney ICB are responsible for planning and buying local health services. They serve a population of 1.1 million people with a budget for healthcare of £1.6 billion. The ICB work with patients, healthcare professionals, local communities and councils to make sure the right services are in place.
