Flu Vaccination Clinics

We will be holding our annual flu clinics on the following dates:

  • Saturday 29th September 2018 from 9am until 11:45am at Fakenham Medical Practice
  • Saturday 20th October 2018 from 9am until 11:45am at Walsingham Branch Surgery
  • Saturday 10th November 2018 from 9am until 11:45am at Fakenham Medical Practice

Please note that due to a limited supply of the vaccine for the over 65 year group, appointments for the 29th September and 20th October clinics can be pre-booked by calling the surgery on 01328 851321 between 10am and 4pm Mon-Fri.  Anybody over the age of 65 who has not pre-booked an appointment on these dates may still be able to receive their vaccination, but this cannot be guaranteed.  There is no need to book an appointment for the 10th November clinic, or if you are aged under 65.

Eligible patients aged under 65 who are unable to attend on one of the clinic dates above are invited to attend on Tuesday 2nd October between 6pm and 8pm at Fakenham Medical Practice.

We will be running drop-in appointments as usual during the working week for both age groups from Monday 1st October onwards, dependent on vaccine availability.

We aim to provide the highest quality of care to the practice population by providing a comprehensive and personal service.  In addition to our seven partners within the Practice, we employ four salaried doctors to help share the workload. Occasionally we employ locum doctors to cover GP absence. We are fortunate to have a highly qualified, highly experienced nursing team of nine Practice Nurses and six Health Care Assistants. Our Dispensers are all trained to a minimum of NVQ 2 standard. Representatives from Adult Social Care and Norfolk Community Health and Care are collocated in the building.  The group provide an extensive range of services via Social Workers, District Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors, offering advice and practical help where needed.
